Lane County Public Works Budget
“For the first time in many years, the Waste Management Division is also structurally imbalanced. This is despite an 11% approved fee increase for FY 25-26. The division is anticipating approximately $4M in lost revenue due to waste being exported from Lane County. The County will need to work to prevent waste from leaving the county, seek to import waste from other counties, or consider significant reductions in services in future budgets.”
Lane County discovers that if you raise your prices you can lose business.
Lets dig into the budget a little more
